Adrian Wykrota – photographer, documentalist, lecturer. The co-founder and co-creator of Pix.house gallery in Poznań. He holds degrees in cultural and media studies, English philology, and is a distinguished graduate of the Institute of Creative Photography at the University of Silesia in Opava, Czech Republic, where he is currently pursuing his doctoral studies. He has received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture, ZAIKS, the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region, and the city of Poznań. Adrian has also participated in workshops organized by Magnum Photos in Birmingham and Belfast. In 2014, he was selected by Magnum Photos as one of the world’s top 30 photographers under the age of thirty. He has won and been a finalist in various competitions, including IPA, Grand Press Photo, BZWBK Press Photo, Lumix Festival, Leica Street Photo, and Fotoreporter Roku. His work has been exhibited in Poland and internationally. His book “NIE – NOT” is part of the Tate Modern collection in London (curated by Martin Parr).
